To ensure the accuracy of your quote, please be as accurate as possible when describing your item. The below options are available for customers to choose during the estimation journey with additional questions to understand the condition of the product.
For Bikes:
| CONDITION | DEFINITION |

| EXCELLENT | The bike is free from marks or scratches. Tyres and brakes may have tiny marks. |
| VERY GOOD | The frame and forks may show slight marks or scratches (less than 5 cm). Tyres and handles may show minor marks. |
| GOOD | Signs of light wear. The frame, fork, and trim (casing, grips, saddle, pedals) show marks or scratches. Tyres, handles, and consumables (brake pads, cables, casings) also show slight signs of wear. Rust spots are no larger than a pinhead. |
| POOR (NOT ELIGIBLE FOR BUYBACK) | Major signs of wear. The frame is cracked, deformed, broken, or has impact marks or scratches. Trim elements have deteriorated. Large rust spots are present and cover more extensive areas. |
If the technical evaluation reveals there is deviation from the input given to the actual condition that the product requires immediate servicing, deep cleaning, or component replacement to restore it to a safe, resaleable condition, a breakdown of these costs will be provided to the customer. The total cost of parts and service charge required for repair/refurbishment will be deducted from the standard buyback value. The deducted value is then billed under the customer details as an acknowledgement.
Customers have the option to pay for it from the credit provided or make a separate payment using the other payment modes that are available.
Based on the revised quote, customers will have the option to continue with the Buyback process or not. After agreeing upon the revised quote and receiving the credit, there is no reversal of Buyback.
Note: Decathlon also reserves the right to deny the product if it is not in an appropriate condition.
